Omosolape & Oyeleke become 1

Omosolape and Oyeleke got married the legal way and sealed it with the Church blessing. It was a private ceremony but it was fun all the way.

OYELEKE: What more can I say about a woman that rocks my world? She is first of all my best friend, someone I see and all my worries melt away. I couldn’t have chosen anyone better to accompany me in this life-long journey, a journey that has just begun with promises of a greater tomorrow. My wife is a compassionate friend, a loyal buddy, a brilliant mind, the carrier of a sexy backside 😉 , a beautiful person inside out. She’s just an exceptional being….adjectives and phrases won’t do justice to who she really is. Sometimes, I wonder how lucky I am to have her as a wife. Her business acumen is legendary, her devotion to work and home is impeccable, what other qualities could a man want in a wife? She’s got my back wholly and I look forward to going home to the warm embrace and comfort of my ‘COMFORT’ Her infectious smile, her calm demeanour, her royal personae, her confident gait, her model-like strides… everything, my babe’s got everything. Oyeleke, you got this right! You lucky ‘somborry’.

OMOSOLAPE: Maybe ours is not ‘love at first sight’ but it’s definitely ‘love to last all times.’ Leke and I share a lot in common, it would have been crazy if we didn’t make it this far. First, we were coursemates in uni, we share the same career path, we agree on so many issues (ethics and values), we attend the same church, we generally agree on so many things except football and video games *batting eyelashes. I feel so blessed and honored to answer the name of such a honourable and fine gentleman like Leke. ‘Oye mi’ as I fondly refer to him is a flawless lover and friend, an amazing man in looks and in deeds and above all a man who loves God. As usual, he brought his sense of humour in excess to the photo-shoot and got me cracking up like the lover-gal that I am. I enjoyed every bit of it, I hope Lgold did as well.

I had fun with these hilarious duo, enjoy and don’t stop until you have hired me.

Kaka & Tomi Indoor Pre-Wedding Photos

Kaka and Tomi’s pre-wedding shoot was so much fun. These lovebirds have one thing in common ‘COOKING’.

Yes! You read right, according to Kaka, “Tomilola mi as I fondly call him found me in church but the common ground for our relationship was our crazy love for cooking and off course eating. There was so much joy trying new things together in the kitchen, he would always push me to do something unique with food considering am the one doing the business side of food for now. Now we are here and guess what we only just started building a brand with food.

We met in church, loved in church, prayed a lot in church and now we are locking it all up in church and errrrm we would remain in church. 😀

More photos and please let’s know what you think. Thanks a bunch 😉

Post Wedding Pictures: How LOVE alters our lives.

My Sundays are usually very sacred. Church Services comes first, an integral part of my sunday routine that takes a deservedly large chunk. But not this Sunday: I am forced to modify my routine as I am scheduled to meet with one of the finest couples I have ever met. I met this cute & romantic couple through a mutual friend, Solape of Satin shoes.

What strikes you as you enter the home of this duo, is the ecstatic ambience of infectious fondness oozing from these lovebirds. The story about how they met acts out perfectly like a fairy tale fit only for a Princess’ dairy. A brief summary would suffice.

Tinuke & Yomi got married in October 2011. They met about nine years ago during their undergraduate days at the School Library of the University of Bedfordshire, UK. *whispering* hmmmm…were they not supposed to be reading?….lol) 😉 They have been married for almost two years and they have an energetic & smart nine month-old boy that complements them perfectly. He is the kind of child that could make couples on family planning to have a rethink on child rearing. (Just kidding) 😉

To describe this couple as the ‘bomb’ is for want of a better fitting expression. The kind of love that revolves around them is reminiscent of a blooming bond seen between young lovers.…..hmmmmm guess Shakespeare would have to write another Romeo and Juliet classic. Well, yours truly, I captured the special moments as much as I could. It was a delight working with these guys. I hope you enjoy the moments as I did.

“I said YES”- Pre-Wedding Shoot

I have known her for 16years now, we attended same high school, Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School……now she’s getting married to the love of her life. Time for pre-wedding shoot. I love this couple 🙂 Never a dull moment with them, beautiful, interesting, fun-filled, romantic, exciting, happy couple. 😉

Oladiran was attracted to Ayomipo because she’s a lady with a good heart. Wow! They are both blessed to have found one another. It was a fulfilling time taking their pre-wedding pictures.

Ayomipo loved her pictures. Her hubby thought the shoot was more like a movie production with a director (my humble self). He enjoyed every bit 🙂

Be sure to drop your comment if you love the shots……..Enjoy.

How I fell in love with a Lebanese.

Ping! Ping!! Thats my blackberry vibrating. “Biola! We need to see o, let me know when you are home”. this message was from my beautiful friend, Yemisi Sanya, MD/CEO Misorge Kiddies. She had a party planning job for a lebanese client & would like me to meet her for discussion on Photography. Immediately I got home I started dialing Yemisi’s number whilst climbing the stairs, I couldn’t wait to see her. LÆ Í¡Ì´Ì´.̮Ơ̴̴͡L This was my introduction into the world of my wonderful & interestings peeps from Lebanon residing in our obodo Nigeria. 🙂

My first meeting didn’t go well as planned. I had to strain my ears to listen, understand & respond to my would-be Client. Yemisi had to do a lot of interpretation as I struggled to communicate in broken or semi-pidgin english. Our conversation included statements like “E goodt like that”,”E go come tomorrow evening” “what you bring for me” etc. 🙂

It didnt take me long to find out that my Lebanese friends have also been infected with the spirit of bargaining, its just that they are not as experienced as Nigerians, theirs is not in-born. I learnt this lesson after my first encounter now I am smarter. 🙂
With bargaining concluded, I get a percentage of my fee upfront without even asking. You can imagine my excitement LƠ̴̴͡.̮Ơ̴̴͡L, I was super motivated. 🙂

Yipeeee!!! The big day is here! The day scheduled for the event usually begins with severals calls from these hyper active clients of mine, not because am running late for the event but its usually because they are so super excited that the day is finally here & can’t wait to get their groove on.

My job as the photographer for the event starts once I step into the venue (this is usually about an hour before the event is scheduled to start). I am taken on a tour by my client afterwhich they take their time to pose for lovely family photos.

The party is in full swing, with other Lebanese families in attendance. One thing I found amazing is that every single invitee came in with a gift & they were right on time. Well, I guess since they are from Lebanon, “african time” is non-existent in their dictionary. This is quite impressive. 😉

On the day of delivery, I get at least three calls at different times from my Lebanese client, this is because they are excited & can’t wait to see the pictures. On seeing them, they start to dance & sing(in their language) with smiles on their faces. It gives me great joy to see them express utmost satisfaction with statements like “Me I love am” “I will call you for all my parties”. I leave their homes with a big smile on my face not only because they satisfied with the job but because I will be smiling to my bank as well. 😉

I have really learnt a lot working with these wonderful people from Lebanon. They are family oriented, fun loving, caring, friendly/accomodating & also people of integrity. Another Language I will like to learn is Lebanese, this will aid effective communication between us especially now that they have fallen in love with me & my Nikon D5000 camera. And seriously I wouldn’t mind getting married to a Lebanese…LÆ Í¡Ì´Ì´.̮Ơ̴̴͡L Can you picture me as a wife of a Lebanese?
